Olympic curling is rolling along with session 3 of the mixed doubles round robin on Thursday stateside. Here’s how you can live stream USA vs. Switzerland.
It’s a new era for Olympic curling and Team USA. In fact, it’s an exciting year for the sport as it’s the first time mixed doubles will be introduced as a medaling event.
The Olympics got off to a fun start on Wednesday evening stateside and will continue through the weekend after Thursday’s opening ceremony. It was the first sport to take place in these games and Team USA took down the Olympic Athletes from Russia (OAR) on Wednesday night in the first official mixed doubles match.
The sibling pair of Matt and Becca Hamilton are fun to watch and they’ll get a shot to secure a win over tournament favorites Switzerland on Friday evening. The Swiss team also recorded a win in their first-ever Olympic mixed doubles match against China.
The round robin tournament will continue over the next week before matchups are set for the semifinals, bronze and gold medal games.
Canada is another favorite coming into the Olympics as curling is a popular sport there — the men’s and women’s teams are quite dominant — but the United States is making moves. Watch out for this team.

All of the Olympic curling matches in the second session take place simultaneously and it will be up to NBC’s editors to decide how much of each match is shown. That said, there will be live streams for each specific game, including USA vs. Switzerland, so cord-cutters are in a great place.
