Every Olympics needs an anthem, so what is the song that will define the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea?

Everyone is familiar with the traditional Olympic anthem and jingle, but did you know that every Olympic Games has a unique anthem?

The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeong Chang’s official song is titled “Let Everyone Shine,” which also doubles as the slogan for the Winter Games. The song is performed by Korean R&B Diva Insooni.

The song was unveiled at a celebration 200 days out from the beginning of the Winter Games.

“I am honored to sing this very special song at the 200-days-to-go celebration and to be an ambassador for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in PyeongChang,” Insooni said back in July 2017. “Music has the power to connect people, just like sport does. This is a special moment where the two have come together, and we can all celebrate this exciting time for Korea and look forward to an amazing event in 200 days’ time.”

“Let everyone shine. Let everyone shine and shine. Let everyone shine and shine. All the time,” the chorus sings in English.

There is also a dance remix.

Of course, American fans of the Olympics might recognize the more traditional anthem fans are accustomed to hearing on NBC. This song is without lyrics, and it is a John Williams arrangement of “Bugler’s Dream,” a song from a 1958 musical by Frenchman Leo Arnaud. But it is the “Bugler’s Dream” part of the arrangement most people recognize.
