Only three points separate Stoke and Brighton in the Premier League table ahead of their game at bet365 Stadium on Saturday. Brighton are 13th in the table with 27 points, while Stoke are 18th with 24 points.

Paul Lambert won his first two games as Stoke manager at home but the Potters blew a second-half lead last weekend against Bournemouth. Stoke have been significantly better at home this season than away from bet365 Stadium. The Potters have 18 points in 13 homes games, compared to only six points in 13 away games. While Lambert has helped slow down the rate that Stoke are allowing goals, the Potters 52 goals is the most conceded by any Premier League club this season. Offensively, Xherdan Shaqiri and Mame Diouf lead Stoke with each player scoring five goals.

Brighton have picked up four points in their last two games but have only six points in their last six games. Away from home this season, the Seagulls have been awful, picking up only nine points in 13 games. However, Brighton could steal points at Stoke and continue to move further from the relegation zone. While Brighton have been strong defensively, allowing the seventh-fewest goals in the Premier League, they have struggled offensively. Only Swansea and Huddersfield have scored fewer goals than the Seagulls. Glenn Murray and Pascal Groß have combined for 13 of the club’s 21 goals. Both Murray and Groß scored last weekend in Brighton’s 3-1 win against West Ham.
