Winter Olympics medal count update: Saturday, February 10

Here are all the athletes that won medals on Saturday, February 10 at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

The 2018 Winter Olympics are underway, and just a day into the games five Olympic medals have already been issued.

In speed skating, the Netherlands had a clean sweep of the Ladies’ 3,000m, walking away with all three medals. The Netherlands also snagged a silver medal in the Men’s 1,500m.

Norway has been equally dominant early on, but has yet to win a gold medal. Norway grabbed the silver and bronze medal in Ski Jumping,Ā Men’s Normal Hill Individual. Norway’s Marte Olsbu won silver in theĀ Women’s 7.5km Sprint Biathlon. Norway’s Marit Bjoergen won silver Ladies’ 7.5km + 7.5km Skiathlon in cross country skiing.

Germany was the first country to win more than a single gold medal. Andreas Wellinger won gold inĀ Ski Jumping,Ā Men’s Normal Hill Individual. Laura Dahlmeier won goldĀ Ā Women’s 7.5km Sprint Biathlon.

Sweden’s Charlotte Kala won the gold medal in theĀ Ladies’ 7.5km + 7.5km Skiathlon in cross country skiing. Semen Elistratov became the first Olympic Athlete of Russia to win a medal, snagging bronze in Men’s 1,500m in speed skating.

Korea’s Lim Hyojun was the first Korean to medal, winning goldĀ in Men’s 1,500m in speed skating.
