Lonzo Ball to battle LaVar on Paramount Network’s Lip Sync Battle on Feb. 15
Lonzo Ball will compete against Lavar on Paramount Network’s Lip Sync Battle on Feb. 15.
For the first time since he went down with a sprained MCL in a Jan. 13 game against the Dallas Mavericks, basketball fans will have an opportunity to see Lonzo Ball in action on Thursday night. Unfortunately for the lovers of the Los Angeles Lakers, that appearance will not be coming with him rocking the purple and gold. Rather than him balling out, Lonzo will be rocking the mic against Lavar in the Feb. 15 version of Paramount Network’s Lip Sync Battle.
Of course, Lonzo won’t be the first NBA player to participate in this show. In prior episodes, we’ve seen the likes of Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Swaggy P and even Shaquille O’Neal show their skills as lip sync battlers. While not at the level of entertainment as their play on the court, we’ve seen some memorable moments of NBA players competing in the Lip Sync Battle. Those memories include DeAndre rapping to Desiigner’s “Panda” while dressed like a panda or CP3 killing the dance number to New Edition’s “Candy Girl”.

Unfortunately, it might not feel like Lonzo may join such luminaries as memorable Lip Sync Battlers. That lack of confidence comes from the first glimpse of his appearance as Lonzo just seems robotic as he raps along to Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” Although his look is perfect — he’s rocking a diamond-encrusted leather jacket, Ball appears to lack the type of confidence that we previously saw from DeAndre or CP3.
Obviously, this is just a 15-second preview of what could be a two-minute performance, so it would be wrong to just count him out However, Lonzo Ball will have to step it up if he wants to be the victor over Lavar when their episode of Lip Sync Battle appears on Feb. 15 on Paramount Network.
