Everything you need to know about live streaming the first two runs of the women’s luge at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

The second event in the luge category at the 2018 Winter Olympics is the women’s luge. The winner of the luge is determined by best cumulative time over four runs. In both the men and women’s luge, the four runs are split over two days and Monday morning’s runs will be the first two for the women.

The first runs begin at 5:50 a.m. ET at the Alpensia Sliding Centre and will be streamed live on NBC Sports. After all the competitors take a trip down the luge, the field will begin their second runs at 7:15 a.m. ET.

The final two runs will be on Tuesday morning.

Three American women will be competing in the luge, Erin Hamlin, Summer Britcher and Emily Sweeney. Hamlin is the most decorated of the bunch, making her fourth Olympic appearance in 2018. In 2014 in Sochi, she became the first-ever medalist in singles competition from the United States in the luge when she went home with the bronze. Hamlin will also serve as the flag bearer for the United States during the Opening Ceremony.

“Being named to an Olympic Team is an amazing accomplishment, and making four teams and winning the bronze medal is so much more than I could I have imagined I would accomplish. Now being voted flag bearer is a whole new level,” said Hamlin. “Working hard and earning success is one thing, being acknowledged as a great representative and member of Team USA by fellow athletes – many who I have been inspired by – is above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. It is definitely a privilege and honor to be the one to lead the team and will be a very special moment. I can’t wait to share it with them all!”
