We all know Philadelphia 76ers’ big man Joel Embiid is the game’s biggest troll. He was true to form on Monday night when his teammate dunked on the Knicks’ Michael Beasley.

Remember when Michael Beasley said he was just as talented as LeBron James and Kevin Durant? Yep, just about everyone does, and no one believed it then and they still probably don’t believe it now. If you thought for a moment that maybe it was true, then what happened to him on Monday night might make you reconsider.

The 76ers took on the Knicks at home, and without Kristaps Porzingis the Knicks look helpless. Late in the third quarter of a six-point game Robert Covington put Michael Beasley on a poster, and Joel Embiid made sure he knew what just happened.

Could you imagine not only being dunked on, but since you’re playing the Sixers you know Embiid is going to get a good laugh at you in front of 60 thousand fans. On top of that the game is in Philly so you know the crowd is really going to be into it with the help of Embiid. It’s a lose-lose situation all the way around.

Embiid was assessed a technical foul for pointing and laughing at Beasley. That didn’t keep him from pumping up the crowd a little bit. I think we should all be accustomed to Embiid’s antics at this point. Earlier in the season he started a fued with Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook after Steven Adams fouled out and Embiid waved him off the court.

After the Sixers lost that game, Westbrook told Embiid to go home which he replied with “I’m already home” (which he already was because the game was in Philly).

I really can’t wait to see what kind of antics Embiid pulls out next.
