Here’s how to watch the Olympics women’s hockey Group B match between Korea and Japan on Wednesday via live stream.
Everyone can’t wait for the Wednesday, Feb. 14 Olympics women’s hockey game between Canada and Team USA. This is the game everyone has been waiting for.
However, before Wednesday’s late-night battle, there will be an early-morning game between the unified Korea team and Japan. It’s an important game, as the winner will finish in third place in Group B.
Thus far, Japan has perhaps deserved to be better than 0-2-0. The Japanese arguably outplayed Sweden but got a bit unlucky at the end. Japan also performed admirably against Switzerland before eventually succumbing to the Swiss team’s skill.
Japan has only scored two goals at the Olympics this year. One has come from Hanae Kubo and the other from Rui Ukita. The former is also Japan’s only player with more than one point.
Meanwhile, despite having the best cheerleaders ever on their side, Korea has yet to score a goal at the Olympics. The unified team includes members of both North and South Korea. The team’s lack of scoring hasn’t killed the players’ enthusiasm, which is good to see.
Everyone who has a heart should be rooting for Korea to score at least one goal. The crowd deserves to see the home team score in the Olympics. Likewise, the players on the ice deserve to celebrate, as well.

This game will not directly determine how things look as far as the gold medal bracket. Neither Korea nor Japan can finish higher than third place in Group B.
However, the winner of this game will have a slightly easier draw in the fifth-place bracket. How a team finishes at the Olympics is relevant to seeding for the next Olympics, so it’s an important game nevertheless.
