The Buffalo Bills will also pick at No. 22 in April, as the pick was their compensation for trading with the Kansas City Chiefs back in the 2017 NFL Draft. That pick was used on Patrick Mahomes II, who should be the starter in Kansas City next season with Alex Smith gone. While most Bills fans likely want the team to draft a quarterback with one of their two first round picks, that is likely not to happen unless they trade up and draft one of the bigger prospects in the draft class.

With their second pick in round one, they should look to continue to get better on the defensive side of the ball. Grabbing a defensive lineman at No. 21 would enable them to upgrade their linebacking group with pick No. 22. One of the better linebackers in this draft class is Rashaan Evans, who proved to be quite the difference maker during his time at Alabama in recent seasons.

Thanks to Evans, Alabama won two national championships in the last three years, as he was the unquestioned leader of the linebacking corps. Evans has the talent to play sideline to sideline, and his speed really sets him apart from the other linebacker sin this draft class. He is going to be a big-time player at the next level, and with Evans and Hurst in tow next season, this Bills defense may be good enough to finally knock off those dreaded New England Patriots.
