Is Black Panther in 3D? We let you know if Black Panther is in 3D, how to watch Black Panther in 3D, and how to get Black Panther 3D tickets.

The latest Marvel movie hits theaters on Friday, but is Black Panther in 3D? Fans might be asking if the next Marvel Cinematic Universe feature is getting the 3D treatment, which seems to be par for the course in the superhero genre.

The adventures of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) would seem to be perfect for this presentation, since he’s out defending his country in a big-budget, effects-laden blockbuster that would lend itself to all kinds of fun things coming off the screen. Superhero movies are meant to be as big as possible, and this is a Big Deal.

Plus, most of the Marvel movies since 2005 have gotten the extra dimension, including The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, all three Captain America flicks and Guardians of the Galaxy (which, let’s face it, it’d be weird if the film about space-traveling heroes wasn’t in every available dimension).

Is Black Panther in 3D? Yes, indeed, it is! Marvel Studios is offering the film both in the regular 3D presentation as well as the whole enchilada that is IMAX 3D. So you, too, can sit back, relax and wait for the inevitable shot that looks like you’re about to get your face clawed off.

Here’s how you can get Black Panther 3D tickets. If you’re looking to catch the film this weekend in standard 3D, tickets and showtimes are available through Fandango; if you’re on the hunt for Black Panther IMAX 3D tickets, you want to go directly to the movie’s page on the IMAX website.

Keep in mind that not every theater will offer all of the viewing options; some venues may only be showing normal 3D and not the IMAX version, while others may not offer any 3D showings at all. Make sure to check the offered showtimes at your specific theater by using the above links before you buy your tickets!
