Here is how you can watch the men’s skeleton first two runs at the 2018 Winter Olympics at the Alpensia Sliding Centre in South Korea.
While luge is fun, men and women hurling themselves down an icy chute at over 80 mph, the skeleton makes them look like sane people. The key difference between the skeleton and the luge is the orientation of the rider. In the skeleton, riders lie on the sled and go down head first.
There are two men competing in the skeleton for the United States, Matt Antoine and John Daly (not the golfer). Antonie was a bronze medalist at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi and Daly was a medal contender as well. Both will be aspiring to medal in 2018.
Antoine and Daly will each go down the chute four times. Wednesday’s skeleton event will be the first two runs, and the medalists will be determined by fastest cumulative time over the four runs.
The first run will be at 8 p.m. ET and streamed live on NBC Sports and Fubo.TV. With the primetime slot, skeleton will be mixed into the live coverage on NBC along with speed skating, alpine skiing and figure skating.
The men’s second run will be at 9:20 p.m. ET. On the following day at 7:30 p.m. ET, the men will compete in the last two runs to determine the medalist. Hopefully, Antoine and Daly will both be in contention for medals once again.
