Here’s how you can watch the Olympic men’s hockey round robin game between Czech Republic and South Korea online and by live stream.
The unified Korean hockey team experiment has come to an end. While those games were always well attended by the North Korean delegation, the host country will appreciate no longer having the distractions that came with it, from protests to Kim Jong-un impersonators.
Now that the men’s hockey tournament has started, South Korea can focus on its own country. As far as their own group, it’s easily the fourth-best team on paper, with a lot of players actually hailing from Canada. But it’s hoping the effect of home ice advantage can propel it further than expected just like it did at the 2002 World Cup.
NBC has exclusive rights to broadcast the 2018 Winter Olympics, which will go out across all of its television, mobile and digital platforms. For those who have already cut the proverbial cord, you can live stream the games, including the men’s hockey tournament.
The game will take place at 9:10 p.m. local time, which is 7:10 a.m. ET. While there aren’t likely to be many North Americans tuning into that game, especially since Canada vs. Switzerland will be on at the same time, the primetime slot for Koreans ensures that this game will be one of the marquee events on the Olympic schedule.
