The team relay is the final luge event at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and here is how you can watch the sport’s finale in Pyeongchang.

The team relay is the grand finale of the luge at the Winter Olympics. Unlike the singles events, which is determined by a cumulative time total for four runs over two days, or doubles which has two runs in a single day, the team relay is a single run.

When racers get to the bottom, they hit an overhead touchpad and the next sled goes down the hill. The nation with the lowest time after all three sleds cross will determine the winner.

The women’s singles start on the chute at a lower point than the men’s single, and the team relay competitors will all race from the women’s starting point.

The favorites in the team relay will be Germany. They finished in first at the 2017-18 World Cup, the 2017 World Championships and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. All in all, Germany has 58 all-time World Cup wins.

No other country has more than five.

The team relay kicks off at the Alpensia Sliding Centre at 7:30 a.m. ET, which is the latest start time for any of the luge events. The event can be streamed live on NBC Sports Live and Fubo.TV.

The United States team will be comprised of the competitors in singles and doubles events.
