The men’s team is looking to gain steam and put together their first serious medal run since the 2006 Olympics Games in Italy. In fact, that was the last time the men’s team placed in the top three, bringing home the bronze.
It’s been quite the drought for Team USA, but that could all change this year. The Americans have a quality team, but it’ll take a near-perfect run in order to dethrone the Canadians for gold.
That’s getting ahead of things, though. We are still in the round robin stage, looking at session 5 on Friday morning. If Team USA is able to take care of Denmark, they can start thinking about the potential medal matchups.
Until then, the team of Americans needs to keep winning and keeping pace with the leaders in the standings, namely Canada. Denmark would be a quality win for Team USA on Friday morning.
All of the Olympic curling matches in the second session take place simultaneously, and it will be up to NBC’s editors to decide how much of each match is shown. That said, cord-cutters have the advantage as every game has its own unique live stream.
