Men’s hockey continues at the 2018 Winter Olympics with Sweden vs Germany. Here’s what you need to know to watch Sweden vs Germany on TV and online.

Hockey at the 2018 Winter Olympics continues with some Group C action between Sweden and Germany on Friday, February 16.

Sweden is coming off of a big 4-0 win over Norway in its Olympics debut. This games marks the 19th meeting between the teams in international play, and Sweden has always been the dominant team with 17 victories. Sweden was able to stay ahead throughout the entire game despite Norway’s numerous attempts to get on the board. There was a scary moment when Joel Lunqvist’s skate caught Norway’s Kristian Forsberg in the face.

Germany suffered a 5-2 loss to Finland in their game on Wednesday. Finland scored early on a power play with help from Eeli Tolvanen, who had a stellar Olympics debut. Germany tied it up, but Finland didn’t let up on Germany. With the loss on their minds, Germany looks to get back on top against Sweden. Look for Brooks Macek to come out strong against Sweden with support from veteran Christian Erhoff.

It’s early enough in the competition that there is still a lot of movement in these groups. Based on first games alone, Sweden has the advantage against Germany in this game and Germany will have to come out stronger than it did against Finland.
