It’s not too soon to start thinking about the 2020 Olympics. First and foremost, though, is the big question: Where are the 2020 Olympics?

The 2020 Olympics are two short years away and the Summer Olympics athletes are already getting in shape for the big event. The 2020 Olympic Games are going to be very important because several sports are returning to the games, while several new sports are making their grand debut. And when it comes to locations, there’s no better place for the 2020 games to take place than in Tokyo, Japan.

Tokyo is a great choice for the Olympics because many of the facilities are already in place and the Tokyo infrastructure is built, unlike in places like Sochi and Rio where there were some issues with getting massive numbers of people between venues. That shouldn’t pose much of an issue in Tokyo given that the city is used to moving people efficiently, even though the Olympics will test even the most prepared cities’ resources.

When it comes to returning sports, Olympics fans are thrilled to welcome the return of baseball and softball to the games. Both baseball and softball are popular here in the United States and the US has its share of medals in the events, but they’re also very popular around the globe, and it will be fun to see the sports back on the Olympic stage.

The International Olympics Committee also voted to add karate, surfing, skateboarding and sport climbing to the 2020 games. The new additions reflect a growing demand for more street sports that have gained enormous popularity with competitions like the X Games in recent years. These sports are also very popular in Japan, and the IOC is hoping that adding these events will make the Tokyo Olympics even more special.

The 2020 Summer Olympics will take place July 24-August 9, 2020, in Tokyo.
