Everything you need to know about Glory 50 Chicago when Murthel Groenhart puts his welterweight title on the line against Harut Grigorian.
For the fifth time in Glory Kickboxing history, the promotion comes to Chicago. In the 50th card, Glory Kickboxing brings a stacked card with two title fights.
In the main event, welterweight champion Murthel Groenhart puts his title on the line against Harut Grigorian. It is the third time the pair have fought, and second in Glory. Groenhart knocked out Grigorian in both of their prior meetings, including Glory 42: Paris which was controversial and led to a chaotic scene.
Grigorian turned to walk away and Groenhart landed the knockout punch from behind. Almost instantaneously, with Grigorian still on the mat, fans were in the ring attacking Groenhart.
It should be a calmer scene in Chicago, but Groenhart will be looking to prove it wasn’t cheap or controversial while Grigorian will be looking for redemption and revenge.
In the main event of the SuperFight Series portion of the card, lightweight champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong puts his strap on the line against Christian Baya. There will also be a heavyweight tournament in the evening on the main portion of the card.
As the event unfolds, all the results and highlights will be posted below. Follow along for all the results by refreshing the page, and following @FanSidedMMA and @mikedyce on Twitter.

Welterweight Bout: Omar Moreno vs. Casey Greene ruled a draw (27-27, 27-27, 27-27, 27-27, 27-27)
The fight went to an extra round in accordance with Glory Kickboxing rules, perhaps giving Greene time to recover from the onslaught of Moreno in the third round. Moreno’s confidence boiled over, getting control of the early part of the round, landing a good knee and doing a bit of taunting. Moreno used stall tactics, clinching and tripping Greene.
Omar Moreno won the fourth round (10-9,10-9,10-9,10-9,10-9) and the fight.
