The FA Cup fifth round kicks off this weekend. Here are five of the most intriguing ties, including Manchester United’s trip to Huddersfield.

The FA Cup fifth round takes place this weekend, beginning with Hull’s trip to Chelsea on Friday. On Saturday, Manchester United travel to Huddersfield and West Brom host Southampton. The fifth round concludes on Monday, when Wigan host Manchester City in a repeat of the 2013 final. Here are the five best games to watch this weekend.

1. Chelsea vs. Hull

The FA Cup weekend kicks off when Chelsea host Hull at Stamford Bridge on Friday night. Chelsea’s form has been quite erratic of late; they’ve had some comfortable victories but also some embarrassing losses to the likes of Watford and Bournemouth.

Hull have struggled in the Championship this season and are only just above the relegation zone. This suggests the FA Cup isn’t their biggest priority, but sometimes the competition can be a welcome relief for a struggling side.

The Tigers can take heart from Bournemouth’s performance at Stamford Bridge, in which Eddie Howe’s men ran out 3-0 winners. At the moment, it seems that if Eden Hazard has a good game then the Blues will have a good game.

The former PFA Player of the Year has been in great form of late, with six goals in his last six games. Therefore, Hull need to try and close him out of the game in order to stand any chance of going through.

If the Tigers can hold out for the first 30 minutes of the match, this could be closer than people might think. Hull should be up for the fight and could knock out one of the biggest sides left in the competition.
