Here are the results from the first two runs of the women’s skeleton at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Team Germany is threatening to sweep the podium in the women’s skeleton, but Great Britan is looking to crash the party. Germany’s Jacqueline Lölling, the reigning world champion, is currently in first place with a narrow margin over Austria’s Janine Flock.

Germany has two other riders, Anna Fernstaedt and Tina Hermann, sitting in fifth and sixth place respectively all within half a second of first place.

But Great Britain has two riders sitting in third and fourth place. In third place is Lizzy Yarnold, the 2014 Sochi Games gold medalist in the skeleton. No Olympic skeleton rider has ever repeated on the podium and Yarnold is in position to be the first to ever accomplish the feat.

Team USA has two competitors in the event, Katie Uhlaender and Kendall Wesenberg. After the first two runs, Uhlaender sits in 12th and Wesenberg in 17th. Neither has a great shot at the podium, Uhlaender is 0.77 seconds out of third place. It would take a bit of fortune slowing down the riders ahead of Uhlaender and some record-setting runs to close the gap.

The final two runs that will determine the medalists will air on Saturday morning beginning at 6:20 a.m. ET.
