Here’s how you can watch the Olympics men’s hockey round robin game between Slovenia and Slovakia online and by live stream.
Slovenia and Slovakia made international headlines on the first day of the Olympics men’s hockey tournament. With their respective wins over USA and Olympic Athletes of Russia, they threw down the gauntlet and signaled to the traditional hockey powerhouses that getting to the Gold Medal game won’t be as easy as in years past.
However, once they swapped opponents, both have followed up those wins with losses. But while Slovakia had a fighting chance against USA, Slovenia’s chances against Russia were over midway through the second period. Thanks to the Olympics’ weird formatting, every team will advance to the knockout stages, but only the eight best countries get a bye to the quarterfinals. As such, both teams will treat this like a must-win in order to avoid playing the extra game.
NBC has exclusive rights to broadcast the 2018 Winter Olympics, which will go out across all of its television, mobile and digital platforms. For those who have already cut the proverbial cord, you can live stream the games, including the men’s hockey tournament.
The game will take place at 9:10 p.m. local time, which is 7:10 a.m. ET. Incidentally, that’ll be the same time as the USA-Russia game. And since they’re all in the same group, and are separated by two points, nobody will know their true fate in regards to seeding until both games have wrapped up.
