Here’s how you can watch curling USA vs. Canada in the men’s round robin tournament online and by live stream.
Team USA is not in good shape in the men’s curling tournament. Expected to make the podium with a bronze medal bid, Shuster’s team is in doubt of making the tie-breaker or semifinal play-in games. Canada, too, is underperforming — at least by Canada standards, which is just to say they’ve lost two games and are not in first place. (They’re in no danger of missing the semifinals.)
That makes the USA vs. Canada match interesting. USA needs this win desperately and while Canada doesn’t need the W to survive, an additional lose might just to start to get in their heads. The two teams face off during the middle session of Monday’s curling in Pyeongchang, meaning they’re in the midnight spot in America.
(The way the men and women’s round robin tournament works, there are three sessions each day, alternating men’s-women’s-men’s, women’s-men’s-women’s until all twelve sessions are complete. There are 12 sessions because there are 10 teams that need to play all 9 opponents once, and a maximum four games played simultaneously, and that’s how math works.)
NBC will rebroadcast the USA vs. Canada match on TV at their leisure — likely sometime Monday — but you can also watch online in real time through the NBC Olympics live stream hub, or replay the event through the same destination.
