NBA Power Rankings: All-Star shots, passes, dunks, and games
By Daniel Lewis
Things looked easy for the Clippers against the Nets, with the offense able to pick them apart in the pick and roll on their way to a 114-101 victory. LA made 19 of their first 26 shots, and had seven players score double-digit points against an Eastern Conference team that is beginning to reveal cracks in their armor. The Clippers were able to pick up a victory heading into the All-Star break, absolutely taking it to the Celtics on Wednesday in a 129-119 win. DeAndre Jordan had a career high 30 points, getting a ton of dunks while also making eight of his nine free throw attempts. The Celtics would battle back, getting within a few buckets, and then Jordan would just rampage over their defense for another dunk. Tobias Harris had 21 points against Boston, and then had a real impressive performance in the 3-point contest at All-Star Weekend.
