Here’s how you can watch the men’s 500-meter short track speedskating final at the Winter Olympics online or by live stream.
There’s more short track to come at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics. The first of three short track medal events on Feb. 22, the men’s 500-meter short track speedskating final will take place at 6:13 a.m. ET. It will be followed by the women’s 1,000-meter and the men’s 5,000-meter relay. Symbolic stuffed animal tigers will be awarded after each race in the arena, with the formal medals bestowed at ceremony off-site at a later time.
Perhaps surprisingly, South Korea is not expected to medal. Instead, China’s Wu Dajing is expected to take gold, Hungary’s Shaolin Sandor Liu the silver medal favorite and Samuel Girard of Canada likely to take bronze. Team USA has three skaters in the finals. John-Henry Krueger, who won silver in the 1,000-meter race after a gnarly crash took our much of the field, will skate in Final A whereas Thomas Insuk Hong and Tianyu Tran will skate in Final B.

NBC will air the event in real time at 6:13 a.m. ET by live stream. Those wishing to watch on TV will need to check their listings. Typically, NBC rebroadcasts short track races in the afternoon. Live streams are available through the NBC Olympics website or the NBC Sports App, which helpfully has a whole dedicated Olympics tab.
