Olympics live stream: Watch women’s 1000m short track speedskating final online
Here’s how you can watch the women’s 1000-meter short track speedskating final online or by live stream at the Winter Olympics.
The last individual women’s short track speedskating event of the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics, the women’s 1000-meter takes place Thursday, Feb. 22 at 6:26 a.m. ET. It will be preceded by the men’s 500-meter and followed by the men’s 3,000-meter. All three events will determine medals, awarded first with symbolic stuffed animals and later with medals.
South Korean national hero Choi Min-jeong is expected to take gold in the event, and if she does, the Gangneung Oval will no doubt go absolutely crazy. However, silver medal favorite Kim Boutin of Canada won’t let her win easy. Nor, for that matter, will the expected bronze medalist — Great Britain’s Elise Christie.
The USA has two skaters in the finals, Jessica Kooreman and Lana Gehring, though they will both be skating in Final B, which takes place before Final A and does not offer the opportunity to medal.

Women’s short track skaters will have one more opportunity to compete at the 2018 games, in a new event — the mass start on Saturday, Feb. 24.
