France’s Jean-Frédéric Chapuis is the heavy favorite with a gold medal to his name at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. He previously won a gold medal at the 2013 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships in ski cross and a silver medal at the 2015 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships in Kreischberg.
Chapuis will see competition from none other than teammate and fellow Frenchman Arnaud Bovolenta, who won a silver medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. Either way you look at it, France looks to be going home with a medal in ski cross again this winter games. If Chapuis wins the gold medal, he’ll be the first ski cross two-time medal winner at the Winter Olympics.

Norberg can become the countries first athlete to win a gold medal in freestyle sking, a once-in-a-lifetime accomplishment. Prior to 2017, Norberg won a bronze medal at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2015 in Kreischberg.
