Olympics live stream: Watch women’s curling gold medal South Korea vs. Sweden online
South Korea and Sweden were clearly the two best teams in women’s curling. Now they face off in the gold medal match. Here’s how to watch online or by live stream.
You couldn’t ask for a better gold medal match in women’s curling. South Korea — not a favorite by any means coming into the tournament — won eight out of their nine round-robin matches and took down Japan — the one team to beat them in session 3 — in a semifinal rematch. Now, they are 10 ends away from winning a gold medal at home in front of a raucous and spirited curling crowd.
But Sweden won’t be swept away. With seven wins in round-robin play, Sweden only lost to Japan and, yep, South Korea. The South Korea-Sweden game in session 8 was close, going all 10 ends with a final score of 7-6. Furthermore, revenge games have gone well for teams in this tournament, particularly in the men’s tournament. (Without a tie-breaker game, the women’s tournament had significantly less opportunity for revenge matches.)
So will South Korea come away with the win after a near-flawless tournament? Will Sweden takedown their hosts in front of a home crowd?
Lucky for you, the match will be played in evening stateside, at 7:05 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 24. NBC has the live stream through the NBC Sports App and NBC Olympics website, and who knows, it may even get some play in primetime coverage.
