How to watch the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony online

Here’s how you can watch the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony live online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.

The 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony will air live on NBCOlympics.com on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 6:00 a.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT. Those wishing to catch the epic ceremony on television in a less early-morning setting can watch it on primetime TV from 8:00 – 10:30 p.m. on NBC. On NBCOlympics’ live stream page for the event, ‘Natural Sound Only’ is listed, meaning there will not be english commentary available before primetime. This will be the first time NBC has ever live streamed the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony for American viewers.

You can catch the primetime edition version with commentary online at this NBCOlympics.com link. The Closing Ceremony will begin at 8:00 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m. ET or 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. PT for NBC primetime viewers. The ceremony is held at Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium, which seats 35,000 people.

Figure skating icons and analysts Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir will be hosting this time around. The Opening Ceremony was hosted by Mike Tirico and Katie Couric. Tara Lipinski released a statement to NBCOlympics.com expressing thrilled excitement at hosting the Closing Ceremony.

"“I started commentating 10 years ago and I thought my biggest dream would be the moment we sat down in our primetime chairs here in PyeongChang, which has been the most incredible experience. But for this assignment to happen, it’s a huge honor and privilege. I’m so excited to embark on this new and exciting adventure and bring the Closing Ceremony to the U.S.” -Tara Lipinski"

Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium will hosts the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies in March.
