WWE Elimination Chamber 2018: Full match results, highlights

We track all the results as they come in for the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view from Las Vegas.

Are two Elimination Chamber matches better than one? We’re about to find out tonight.

Following in the footsteps of the history made at the Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber is set to feature a women’s version of its namesake match. Six women, including Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, will do battle for Bliss’ belt. Not to be outdone, seven men will enter the Chamber as well, fighting it out to see who will take on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship.

Because of the length of the two Elimination Chamber bouts, there aren’t many other matches on tonight’s card. There’s a much anticipated showdown between undefeated Asuka and Nia Jax, the conclusion (we think) of the feud between Bray Wyatt and “Woken” Matt Hardy, and a tag team title match with The Bar defending against the surprisingly effective-as-of-late Titus Worldwide.

There’s also a match on the Kickoff Show, which begins at 7:00 p.m. on WWE Network. Balor Club buddies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will tackle the Miztourage’s loyal soldiers, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. It sounds like a match that will be eminently skippable, but at least there’s some kind of in-ring action during the Kickoff Show if you choose to tune in.

Kickoff Show: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson def. The Miztourage when Anderson pinned Curtis Axel after a Magic Killer

Women’s Elimination Chamber Match

  • Sasha Banks eliminated Mandy Rose via submission, getting Rose to tap out to the Bank Statement.
  • Mickie James eliminated Sonya Deville by pinfall with a Thesz press off the top of one of the pods.
  • Bayley eliminated Mickie James by pinfall with a Bayley to Belly.
  • Alexa Bliss eliminated Bayley by pinfall with a roll-up.
  • Bliss eliminated Banks by pinfall after an elevated DDT.

The winner … and still Raw Women’s Champion … Alexa Bliss.

Sheamus and Cesaro (champions) def. Titus Worldwide by pinfall – Raw Tag Team Championship Match

Asuka def. Nia Jax by pinfall

Matt Hardy def. Bray Wyatt by pinfall

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match

  • Braun Strowman eliminated Miz by pinfall with a running powerslam.
  • Strowman eliminated Elias by pinfall with a running powerslam.
  • Strowman eliminated John Cena by pinfall with a running powerslam.
  • Strowman eliminated Finn Balor by pinfall with a running powerslam.
  • Strowman eliminated Seth Rollins by pinfall with a running powerslam (sensing a pattern here?).
  • Roman Reigns eliminated Braun Strowman by pinfall with a spear.

Reigns will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

After the match was officially over, Strowman rose and hit Reigns with a running powerslam. Urged on by the crowd, he gave a thumbs down hand signal and planted Reigns again with his finisher. He finished his rampage by throwing Reigns through the wall of one of the pods.
