Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin might compete at Crans-Montana, Ofterschwang, and the 2018 FIS Ski World Cup in Are, Sweden.

The sky’s the limit for Olympic champion skier Mikaela Shiffrin. At the age of 22, she’s already accomplished every skier’s dream growing up. Shiffrin will likely take a bit of time to relax following a magical three weeks at the Pyeongchang Games. As the reigning World Cup Champion in Slalom, she’ll want to repeat. Let’s talk about where we might see Shiffrin bring her skiing talents to in the next month. Looking ahead, though nothing is concrete, we could see Shiffrin competing at the upcoming Audi FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup Ladies 2018 Crans-Montana, 2018 Ski World Cup Ofterschwang, Germany, and FIS Ski World Cup 2018 in Are, Sweden in the coming months.

Last February, Shiffrin won her first super-combined race at the Crans-Montana, her ninth World Cup win of that season. The Audi FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup Ladies 2018 Crans-Montana just happens to be coming up on March 3 and March 4. Just saying! Then, there’s the 2018 Ski World Cup Ofterschwang, Germany on March 9 and March 10, which already has the online Mikaela Shiffrin Fan Club booking packages for fans to go to the event and cheer her together.

The 2018 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals follows in Are, Sweden. The event will take place fomr March 14-18, so just a few weeks from now. So, there are plenty of opportunities already. The major difference of course this year is the Winter Olympics. Shiffrin might want to take a few weeks off after the ultra-intense, pressure-filled competition that is the Winter Games. Maybe take a few days just to reflect on her gold and silver medals, the reward for 24/7 dedication and hard work to the sport.

Shiffrin has commented on Twitter about the “Mind-boggling, incredible, whirlwind” last three weeks of competition in Pyeongchang and how “It’s hard to believe #pyeongchang2018 has already come and gone.” She’s catching up on some much-earned rest after fighting off jet lag. One thing’s for certain, 2018 is off to an excellent start for Mikaela Shiffrin. We’ll likely see her again, proudly representing Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.
