High Value C

Jarrett Allen, BKN at CLE ($5,400): The drop off from Willie Cauley-Stein to Allen is $1,500. Allen had a monster 39.8 fantasy point game against the Bulls on Monday night. The Cavaliers are 11th against the position in their last 15 games. Despite the Nets getting healthier, Allen remained productive, which is a good sign for his value moving forward. His minutes have fluctuated and there’s no telling how many minutes he’ll play on Tuesday. For that, he’s a risk. **

Tristan Thompson, CLE vs BKN ($4,800): The Nets are 30th against the position in their last 15 games. That’s good news for Thompson, if he plays enough minutes. He had 24.6 fantasy points against the Spurs on Sunday. He’s typically productive when he plays, there’s just no telling how many minutes he’s going to play. As this price, he’s a solid option who should be around value. If he plays more minutes, he has a chance for a big night. ***

Marcin Gortat, WAS at MIL ($4,700): Gortat is coming off a 31 fantasy point performance against the Sixers on Sunday. Prior to that, he missed value in three straight. He had 16.4 fantasy points against the Bucks on Jan. 15, but was over 30 fantasy points in games on Jan. 6 and Nov. 20. Gortat has been hit-and-miss all season. The matchup is good as the Bucks are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games. Proceed with caution. ***
