2018 NFL Mock Draft: Jets fly high with Baker Mayfield
By Brad Weiss
With their second of two first round picks, the Buffalo Bills need to address a need that just came up this offseason. Star center Eric Wood was diagnosed with a career-ending neck injury, leaving the team with a huge hole at the position. The Bills will pick twice in the first round thanks to a trade they made with the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2017 NFL Draft, a pick that turned out to be Patrick Mahomes II.
One player who could fill the void left by Wood would be Billy Price, who is one of the more versatile lineman in this draft class. Price has been a standout player for the Ohio State Buckeyes, playing both center, and guard. He will likely be a straight up center at the next level, and the Bills have a need at that position, so he makes sense at No. 22.
Price is a tremendous athlete, and his game should translate perfectly to the pro level. He has tremendous feet, and is one of the smartest football players in this draft class. Look for him to hear his name called in the first round, and with the Buffalo Bills, he could slide into a starting role on their offensive line on day one.
