Offensive Tackle. UCLA. Kolton Miller. 24. player. 87.

The Carolina Panthers made it back to the playoffs last season, after missing the postseason following the 2016 campaign. In 2015, the Panthers made it all the way to the Super Bowl, though they were beaten pretty soundly by the Denver Broncos. With Cam Newton looking healthy for the first time in a couple years last season, Carolina’s offense looked great, but they need to get help up front moving forward.

In the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Panthers spent their pick on running back Christian McCaffrey. The young speedster out of Stanford proved to be worth the pick, adding a new dimension to the Panthers offense. In 2018, they should look to add players to the offensive line, and Kolton Miller from UCLA could slide in as a starting tackle next season.

Miller has the body to stay on the left side at the next level, but would likely serve as a compliment to Matt Kalil on the right side. If the Panthers want to remain a playoff team, they have to keep Newton upright, and Miller can help them do just that. This team has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, but they need to stay tough up front in a division that saw three teams make the playoffs last season.
