March Madness starts with 68 teams that work to make it to the Final Four and the National Championship game. When is the 2018 Final Four?

As soon as the field of 68 teams are announced at the 2018 Selection Show, thus begins a race to the Final Four and the title of NCAA college basketball National Champions.

The 2018 Final Four will take place March 31 through April 2 at the University of Texas San Antonio. The action begins with the First Four play-in games March 13-14, followed by the First and Second Rounds March 15-18. The Round of 32 and the Elite 8 will play March 22-25 and the final stop at the Big Dance is in San Antonio.

March Madness is thrilling for college hoops fans who can catch all the action across four different networks for three consecutive weekends. Fans fill out their brackets and hope they aren’t busted early on, which is why some people create multiple brackets and hope for the best. Every year the Cinderella team will rise up and upset the competition, leaving brackets busted in their wake while the stalwart teams you expect to see at the end of the Big Dance will continue their dominance. The reality, though, is that you can never really predict everything that happens during March Madness and that’s what makes it so much fun.

The 2018 Final Four will be the last Final Four starting in March for at least the next five years. After 2018 the Final Four games will take place in April, with the earliest start date being April 3-5 at Tulane in 2022 and as late as April 6-8 at the University of Minnesota in 2019.
