These sides met in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, and Manchester City ran out easy winners. However, Arsenal had won three and drawn three of the meetings away from the Etihad Stadium prior to that. The Gunners won’t be favorites to win on Thursday, but they have shown they can go toe-to-toe with City in the past.

Arsenal’s home form has been good this season, with ten wins and one loss from their 13 league matches. However, they usually struggle against other big teams, winning just one of their eight league meetings with other top six sides in 2017-18.

City’s away league record is the best in the division, and identical to Arsenal’s at home. Pep Guardiola will be confident his team can get their 11th away win of the season, and move one step closer to the title. Sergio Agüero scored at the weekend, and has found the net in his last five meetings with the Gunners. City’s record scorer will be the man to watch in this match.
