The third race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season has a bunch of drivers looking to prove how fast they are in Las Vegas, and we tell you how to make sure you catch it live.
If the thought that Las Vegas is more of a sign of things to come over the course of a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season, then it’s possible we’re about to learn a lot during the Pennzoil 400.
Favorites? Take your pick. Ryan Blaney has looked really fast everywhere in 2018, and he’s on the pole. Next to him is Kevin Harvick, and all he did was blow away the field last week in Atlanta. Kyle Larson finished second in this race last year, and no one could keep up with him during the XFINITY Series race on Saturday.
Throw in defending series champion Martin Truex Jr., who won here in 2017, and Brad Keselowski, winner of two of the last four spring Las Vegas races, and you’ve got yourself a crap shoot. And trust us, that’s a less painful gambling reference than the ones you’re going to hear in great quantities on Sunday afternoon.
