Couldn’t get enough of snowboarding in the 2018 Winter Olympics? There’s more shredding to be done at the 2018 Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships, starting with women’s slopestyle semifinals on Wednesday.
Much of the world only tunes in to watch pro-level snowboarding every four years during the Winter Olympics, but true aficionados of the sport know there are multiple events throughout the calendar year.
With the conclusion of the Pyeongchang Games, the next professional snowboarding tournament on the books is the 2018 Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships, which run from March 5-10 in Vail, Colorado.
The action kicks off on Wednesday morning, with the women’s slopestyle semifinals at Golden Peak, to be followed by the men’s event.
Here’s everything you need to know to watch:
Burton U.S. Open Women’s Slopestyle Semifinals
Date: Wednesday, Mar. 7
Time: 12 p.m. ET
Location: Golden Peak, Vail, Colorado
TV: FS2, TV8

Pyeongchang slopestyle gold medalist, American Jamie Anderson, will be strapping into her board on Wednesday. She’ll be looking to qualify for the Burton U.S. Open slopestyle finals on Friday by throwing down some of the same tricks that landed her a place on the Olympic podium.
But close observers at the Winter Olympics will remember that the slopestyle final, inexplicably, was allowed to continue on a severely windy day in Pyeongchang, and while Anderson attempted a cab double cork 900, she modified it to a frontside 720 after gauging the wind, winning a medal.

Without the wind stopping her in Vail, Anderson should be able to wow the crowd with her cab double cork 900.
Olympic big air gold medalist Anna Gasser will also be in attendance at the Burton Open. Though she didn’t place in slopestyle at the Winter Olympics, she won Gold in slopestyle at the 2017 Burton U.S. Open.
