Manchester United host Liverpool on Saturday in the highlight of Premier League matchweek 29. Here are five bold predictions about what’s to come.

Premier League matchweek 30 begins with Liverpool traveling to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in Saturday’s early kickoff, before Chelsea host Crystal Palace in the later kickoff. On Sunday, Watford travel to Arsenal and Bournemouth face a tough test when they host Tottenham at the Vitality Stadium. The weekend is rounded off on Monday night, when Manchester City travel to Stoke.

1. Salah leads Liverpool to victory over United

The most highly-anticipated match of the weekend is also the first, as Liverpool travel to Old Trafford to face off against Manchester United on Saturday. The two sides are currently locked in a battle for second place, with Manchester City running away with the title.

Both teams have had strong seasons, but they’ve been blown away by City. Jose Mourinho was probably hoping for the title at the start of the season, while Jurgen Klopp would likely have been happy with a top four finish, meaning Reds fans head into this game the happier group.

That’s not to say  the German manager doesn’t want to win things, but he understands it takes time and persistence to win trophies. This weekend’s game should be very close, but Liverpool might have the edge with Mohamed Salah in their side.

The Egyptian should win Player of the Year for his performances in red this season, and he has the ability to turn a game with his undeniable skill. Ashley Young could have a long match if he doesn’t win a few early tackles against Salah.

There’s no doubt Young has fared well this season at left-back, but against really good players he will struggle because it’s not his natural position. This will be the difference on Saturday, as Salah leads Liverpool to victory at Old Trafford.
