The match between Malaga and Barcelona will see La Liga’s worst take on the team in first. Barcelona are coming off of a vital 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid which practically guaranteed them the title.

Malaga, on the other hand, have finally hit rock bottom. They are last in La Liga and have only amassed 13-points from 27-games. This has them eight points away from safety.

The Segunda Division beckons for a side that was minutes from the Champions League semi’s only five-years ago.

Barcelona will most likely rotate the squad as much as they can in a match where victory is almost certain. Chelsea will travel to the Camp Nou midweek for leg two of their round of 16 Champions League match and Ernesto Valverde will want as fresh a squad as possible to make sure they advance to the quarterfinals safely.

This past Wednesday they needed penalties to beat Espanyol in the Supercopa De Catalunya final but Valverde used a squad that was heavily rotated.
