High Value SF

Josh Richardson, MIA at POR ($5,900): Richardson has seen his minutes decline in the last two games, but he’s still managed to be around value in both contests. He needs 25.6 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. With Dwyane Wade out of the lineup and a tough matchup in front of them, he should see an increase in minutes. At this salary, he’s the most reliable guy on the Heat, even if he doesn’t have a big game. ****

Dillon Brooks, MEM vs MIL ($5,200): It’s possible that Tyreke Evans makes his return from injury in this one. If that happens, Brooks will see a decline in his usage rate. However, It’s Ben McLemore who will take the bigger hit. McLemore will head to the bench while Brooks will remain in the starting lineup. Brooks was able to co-exist with Evans for the handful of games between the trade deadline and Evans’ injury. His numbers weren’t great and his salary might be a little too high on Monday with Evans back. Proceed with caution. ***

Corey Brewer, OKC vs SAC ($3,800): if you want to save a lot of money and ride a hot hand of a role player, Brewer is a strong option. He’s started the last two games for the Thunder, going over 20 fantasy points in both contests. He finds his way into easy baskets thanks to his cutting ability and the passing of Paul George and Russell Westbrook. He also comes up with a few rebounds and chips in defensively. ***
