Saquon Barkley is an absolute animal. In case his impressive 2017 season wasn’t enough to show everyone, Barkley put on an impressive display at the scouting combine that left everyone’s jaw on the floor.

He ran a 4.40-40 yard dash with a 233-pound frame, had a 41-inch vertical and put up 29 reps on the bench press. He’s huge, fast and can go up to get any football. That type of talent is a rarity and he’s a once in a generation type of running back.

Next: NFL Mock Draft: Where will the quarterbacks go?

There have been some talented running backs that have entered the NFL in recent years and Barkley seems poised to join that crop. He is so talented that he very well could push the Cleveland Browns to choose him with the No.1 overall pick instead of a quarterback.

He has the ability to put the team on his back and give defenses a headache every single time that he touches the football. There is no such thing as a guaranteed pick when it comes to drafting, but Barkley certainly feels like one.

The debate over the next month will be whether or not the Browns should pass on a quarterback for him, but to cause that debate shows just how special he is. He entered the combine with plenty of hype and left with even more.
