DraftKings European League Basketball Picks March 15

More from DraftKings

The Euro League has another unbalanced round with five games on our Thursday. They start early at 12:45pm eastern, so make sure your lineups are in place before then! Some of the biggest names in the Euro League are in action. We also have some decent value. Let’s take a look!

The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from!

Guards:

Alexey Shved is once again the highest priced player on the board, with good reason. This is a good matchup for Shved against Tel Aviv. He is a certain 30 DraftKings points. Shved has been in the 30’s for almost three months straight now.

I would go with Kevin Pangos over Taylor Rochestie right now, but it’s close. I like the consistency and matchup for Pangos. Rochestie likely has more upside though.

Vassilis Spanoulis is my favorite outside of five figures. However, the lack of consistency is tough. That said, Spanoulis is one of the few that is a threat for 40 today.

The middle tier is full of pitfalls. So many that I am going to fade the middle guards all together. The only one I would even consider is James Anderson because of the good matchup, but he has not been the most consistent guy around either. Consistency is so hard to find in the Euro League!

Ricky Hickman and Dino Hackett both have good matchups today and both have played well lately. Their production has been nearly even, so use whichever one fits your budget. You could even use both to save for the frontcourt if you want.

Sam Van Rossom is still out, so Pau Ribas is still a nice value play despite the tougher matchup. However, Marcelinho Huertas has an easier matchup and has 52 DraftKings points in the last two rounds combined.

NEW YORK, NY – DECEMBER 03: Tornike Shengelia #20 of the Brookly(Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)

Forwards:

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Tornike Shengelia is the best forward option once again. He got himself into a bit of foul trouble against Baskonia in round 25, but I wouldn’t worry about that. Shengelia is still the top option up front. The inconsistency of Dorell Wright is tough to take, but his matchup is even better than Shengelia’s. Wright is a solid pivot option with big upside, but he can really hurt your bottom line.

Bryant Dunston is finally back on track after five straight rounds of 20 or more DraftKings points. Tyler Honeycutt has a nice matchup against Tel Aviv after a couple of off games. However, saving a few hundred bucks and going with Jonah Bolden may not be a bad idea. Bojan Dubljevic is also a strong pick if you are going down this far. Dubljevic has three rounds of more than 20 DraftKings points in the last four.

Sonny Weems has 61.5 DraftKings points in two games with Efes. He is clearly the best scoring option on the team, and the price is right here. Use him before his price goes way up! Artsiom Parakhouski continues to put up 20 point rounds. Parakhouski remains one of the most consistent options in this tier.

Dejan Musli is carving off a bigger role on the team with each passing round. At this point, I would use him over Rubit. Will Thomas looks like a strong play in this tier as well with Fernando San Emeterio out today. Adrien Moerman looks like a strong option as well with all of the injuries in the Barcelona frontcourt.
