NCAA Tournament 2018, Loyola vs Miami: Watch online, live stream, box score

The No. 11 seed Loyola Ramblers take on the No. 6 seed Miami (FL) Hurricanes in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 15th.
These two teams are competing to advance in the tournament to the round of 32. The team that comes out victorious will go on to face the winner of Tennessee and Wright State.
The Loyola Ramblers finished 28-5 overall, 15-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Ramblers went on to win the conference tournament championship in a 65-49 victory over the Illinois State Redbirds. This is a giant step from last year as they lost in the quarterfinal in a heartbreak to Southern Illinois 55-50. Loyola is eager and ready to take on the Hurricanes, hoping for an upset. The Miami Hurricanes, however, were not champions of their Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished with a 22-9 overall record, 11-7 in conference play. The Canes came up short against the Tar Heels of North Carolina in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinal game 82-65. The Canes gave up 50 points in the second half alone.
The Loyola Ramblers are currently on a 10-game winning streak which should definitely have the Hurricanes worried. Although, this game seems to be favorable in Miami to pull this one out. This is Loyola’s first NCAA Tournament appearance in 33 years, so they definitely are ready to play and should be pumped up for this opportunity.
