The Kansas Jayhawks face the Penn Quakers in the 2018 NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The pedigree of the Kansas Jayhawks can’t be denied, both historically and under the tutelage of head coach Bill Self. They’re a perennial contender to win a national championship, and they enter the 2018 NCAA Tournament as a 1-seed with that on their minds again. However, their First Round game against the Penn Quakers might not be a cakewalk.
Penn was able to knock off Harvard in the Ivy League Championship Game, earning them a spot in the tournament. Many people believe that the Quakers, who went 24-8 on the season, earned much better than a 16-seed in March Madness. However, that’s the hand they’ve been dealt, and they’ll be looking to make history by knocking off the Jayhawks.
Of course, that’s easier said than done. Kansas comes into this game as Big 12 champs and off a phenomenal season. Devonte’ Graham was named the Big 12 Player of the Year, and rightfully so as he’s been a force at the guard position all season. He’s not alone, but he’ll lead the way through the tournament.
It may be a 1-16 game, but this one could be worth watching. You can keep an eye on the box score below and information on how to watch can be found just further down.
