The Tennessee Volunteers face the Wright St. Raiders in the 2018 NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
It’s time for March Madness, meaning that fans across the country of college basketball will be hoping for the perfect bracket or just to see a miraculous upset. And fans won’t have to wait long on Thursday, March 15 in the first day of the 2018 NCAA Tournament to see a possible upset as the No. 14 Wright St. Raiders will hope to topple the No. 3 Tennessee Volunteers.
Rick Barnes and Tennessee have had a phenomenal season. They’re one of the most balanced teams in the country and made it to the championship of the SEC Tournament. Not only do they possess that balance, though, they also have a stud in Admiral Schofield, who is a leader that can take over any game for the Vols.
Meanwhile, the Raiders of Wright St. won the Horizon League tournament to get their automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. They’re led by the likes of Grant Benzinger and Loudon Love. Benzinger leads the team in scoring, while Love is a big man that is a double-double threat each time he touches the floor.
With that said, the Raiders have substantially less talent and athletes than the Volunteers do. Thus, it’ll be interesting to see how things go down in Dallas. And you can follow and watch the game with the box score below and the game information further down.
