2018 NBA Mock Draft: Enter the madness
On an opening day in which top seeds struggled to take care of business, Villanova easily came away with a 26-point victory over Radford to join the Round of 32.
While Arizona, Texas Tech, Ohio State and Miami all suffered scares of various shapes and sizes, Bridges helped Villanova do what they entered March prepared to do, which is completely dominate. He was typically efficient, scoring 13 points on 5-10 shooting, including a great 3-6 from distance. No starter had to bust into the 30s in minutes, signaling just how easy a matchup this was for the Wildcats.
However, Villanova will face Collin Sexton and Alabama over the weekend, meaning Bridges could draw the matchup against a fellow lottery prospect. Villanova has no great point guard defender, though Phil Booth and Dante DiVincenzo will certainly provide help.
It would be a great second-round scouting opportunity if Bridges guarded Sexton, but really, Bridges has done all he needs to lock up a top-ten selection. A second national championship would be just another accolade.
