High Value C

Greg Monroe, BOS at ORL ($4,800): If Al Horford is out once again, that means more minutes for Monroe once again. He played 25 minutes against the Wizards on Wednesday, finishing with 34.5 fantasy points. As long as he plays at least 20 minutes, he’ll be over the 20.9 fantasy points he needs to be at value. If Horford plays, he’s a slight risk. But if Horford doesn’t play, he’s a solid bet. ***

Jakob Poeltl, TOR vs DAL ($4,800): Poeltl was limited to 7.6 fantasy points against the Pacers on Thursday. He had 18.8 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Dec. 26 and needs 20.9 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. If this one is over early, Poeltl may pick up more minutes and see his value rise. He’s not a great option, but has proven himself capable of putting up strong nights before. *

Zaza Pachulia, GS vs SAC ($3,900): The Warriors may have no choice but to play Pachulia big minutes if they don’t have enough bodies to fill a lineup. He’s played 20-plus minutes in each of the last two games, contributing 42.7 fantasy points against the Timberwolves and 29.9 fantasy points against the Lakers. The Kings are a good matchup, ranking 25th against the position in their last 15 games. It might be the Zaza show once again on Friday. ***
