Clemson takes on Auburn in the Second Round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Here’s what you need to know to watch the game on TV and online.

The NCAA Tournament Second Round action continues with a battle between the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds in a thrilling Midwest Region.

No. 4 Auburn knocked out No. 13 Charleston in a close 62-58 victory. It was not an easy win for Auburn, which finished the first half tied with Charleston and ended up with a four-point win. Auburn’s shooting was the biggest culprit as they trailed Charleston in shooting. Mustapha Heron had 16 points and 5 rebounds but was 0-for-5 in 3-point attempts. As a team, Auburn was 20.8 percent from the arc and 15-32 at the charity stripe. Their late-game hustle is what landed them the victory, but it could have very easily gone the other way.

No. 5 Clemson was picked as the underdog against No. 12 New Mexico State but ended up pulling off a 79-68 win. Clemson was 7-for-9 from the free throw line and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc, which led over New Mexico State. Guard Shelton Mitchell had 23 points, five assists and three rebounds while Gabe DeVoe added 22 points.

This matchup between Clemson and Auburn should be close as a matter of course, but Clemson has an advantage over Auburn based on what happened in the First Round. To make it to the Sweet 16, Auburn needs to take advantage of every free throw opportunity because those missed points could make the difference in a close game.
