Watching Eric Musselman freak out after their comeback victory is what March Madness is about.

Nevada head coach Eric Musselman has earned the right to freakout in his locker room. Getting to the Sweet Sixteen gets you that.

It wasn’t a bad freakout, but one full of happiness and joy. The Wolfpack were down all night long against the No. 2-seeded Cincinnati Bearcats, and it seemed like Nevada was about to get their Cinderella slipper ripped off of their feet.

Then, came “The Comeback.”

After Cincinnati went up by 22 points late in the game, the Bearcats forgot how to play the game of basketball, and the Cinderella Wolfpack pounced on them like a pack of wolves ready to eat their prey alive.

The end result? Nevada is dancing to the Sweet 16 and Cincinnati earned the right to feel the same embarrassment that Virginia felt in the first round. What came after this historic comeback is the stuff of legend as well.

With his team jubilant, Musselman fed off of that energy and went into a joyous tirade, first in the post-game interview:

And then, in the locker room, forgetting for a moment that there were a microphone and multiple cameras in their locker room.  Musselman, though, couldn’t have cared less:

Wait, it gets better!

Musselman was so pumped up that he went back out of the room, ripped his shirt off, and ran back into the room, and to the camera guy who caught this epic pic, may all good things forever come your way:

See, this is what March Madness is all about and why everyone across this great nation of ours is so wrapped up in the excitement. Musselman embodied every Nevada fan who’s prayers were answered, and he also embodied the spirit of those whose brackets are still (somewhat) intact.

Nevada is still dancing, and let us all hope that they continue to wear the glass slipper because seeing Musselman lose his mind in the locker room is almost as legendary as “The Comeback.”
