NBA Power Rankings: Utah Jazz leap into the top-5
By Daniel Lewis
Are the Pistons one of the most depressing teams in the league? They’ve won two games since the All-Star break, and have lost their last three games, all on the road, with three more road games for this trip, against the Kings, Suns, and Rockets. The Drummond-Griffin combination looks okay, but Blake has to play so far away from the rim as a playmaker and floor-spacer that he’s not able to get any offensive rebounds. They gave their first-round pick away to the Clippers, but they’re not going to be able to make the playoffs, so resting their stars down the stretch doesn’t make sense. Better to just give Drummond and Griffin time to learn how to play together and hope they can figure out something on the free agency market over the summer.
