Washington had an exciting week, picking up two wins as they continue to battle without John Wall, who is still sidelined with an injury. While they weren’t able to pick up a win over the Timberwolves to start the week, they did pull out a win in double overtime over the Boston Celtics, and then took care of the Pacers on Saturday. While the win over the Celtics is nice, Boston was missing six players, and the Wizards needed to rally from a 20-point deficit to pick up a victory. One of the more concerning things for the Wizards has to be play of Marcin Gortat, who has seen his performance slide throughout the season. The veteran center isn’t able to be out there for major minutes any more, and Scott Brooks is going to have to get creative with Ian Mahinmi and Markieff Morris down the stretch to get quality minutes from someone at the 5.
